Mukago is the seed of the jinenjyo which grows on the vine. While we grow the jinenjyo to harvest and eat the root, we can also eat the seeds, they are delicious when deep fried or cooked with rice making a dish called Mukago Gohan. We can harvest these seeds from the end of October to the beginning of November. These are a specialty because usually you cannot find them at the shops. At this event you can experience harvesting and eating Mukago.
