Jinenjyo Pumpkin is a small 3 person restaurant set on a small Jinenjyo farm in Okayama. Jinenjyo is a Japanese specialty vegetable that takes 2 years to grow from seedling to harvest. Its unique consistency allows for some extraordinary uses and the dishes available here are a selection of traditional Japanese and Japanese-Western fusion food. This is a truly unique and local experience. Food that is unlikely to be found anywhere else in the world or even within Japan. Served on the same land the jinenjyo was grown, prepared by the farmer who devoutly cultivated and harvested it with his own hands.

The restaurant must be booked in advance. Below are the available times in June.

Attached to the farm, a small restaurant with 3 seats (on reservation only) prepares dishes based of course from the main product of the farm, the jinenjyo. You can taste it via a traditional Okonomiyaki and also with crepes, you will not spread jinenjyo on it, the dough is made from this healthy vegetable. You will not find that anywhere else.
